Die Hölle : Eine Frau im chilenischen Geheimdienst. Eine Autobiographie (3930908654)



Als junge Frau gehörte Luz Arce zur paramilitärischen Leibwache Allendes. Nach dem Putsch am 11. September 1973 ging sie in den Untergrund. Einige Monate später wurde sie von der Geheimpolizei DINA verhaftet. Durch die Hölle der Folter gebrochen und um das Leben ihres ebenfalls gefangenen Bruders zu retten, erklärte sie sich bereit, Freunde zu verraten und ihren Folterern neue Opfer auszuliefern. Fünf Jahre lang arbeitete sie als Beamtin für die Geheimdienste DINA und CNI.
1980 konnte sie ihre Entlassung erreichen, und es begann eine zweite Hölle: Sie fand nicht ins normale Leben zurück, zerbrach beinahe an den seelischen und körperlichen Folgen der Haft. Am Ende beschloss sie, mit ihrem Wissen an die Öffentlichkeit zu treten und um der Wahrheit willen alle Anfeindungen zu ertragen.
Luz Arce sagte als Zeugin vor der Regierungskommission "Verdad y Reconciliacion" ("Wahrheit und Versöhnung") gegen Geheimdienstler aus, die der Folter, des Mordes und des Verschwindenlassens von M enschen angeklagt sind. Dort stand sie erneut jenen hochrangigen Geheimdienstmitarbeitern gegenüber, die erst ihre Folterer, dann ihre Vorgesetzten waren (einer davon zeitweise sogar ihr Liebhaber).
In ihrer Autobiographie legt Luz Arce persönliche und politische Rechenschaft über ein ungewöhnliches Leben ab: von der Spätzeit der Volksfrontregierung des 1973 ermordeten Präsidenten Salvador Allende über die Diktatur Pinochets (1973 - 1989) bis ins Jahr 1994.
